The Labyrinth of S'xsyde

Long ago, the archmage S'xsyde locked herself and all her vast riches away in a vast labyrinth. Many have attempted to conquer it, but none have returned. Now, it is your turn. Will you succeed, and win eternal glory, or end up like so many other before you?

The Labyrinth of S'xsyde is a single-player pen and paper game, styled after games in the dungeon crawling and roguelike genres. The player must avoid traps, collect treasure, and defeat monsters, in order to conquer the eponymous labyrinth, and then escape before it collapses around them.

Features
  • Random dungeons. No two games are alike, and as you play, you must decide whether you will take the shortest path to the boss, or explore more of the dungeon to search for treasure.
  • Seven unique character classes. Classes have different strengths and weaknesses, and each has its own unique ability to aid you in your adventures.
  • Simple rules. The game consists entirely of four pages, two of rules, and two of tables for determining what you encounter in each room.
  • Material-light. All it takes to play Labyrinth is a couple pieces of paper (graph paper recommended, though not required), a pencil, and a pair of six-sided dice.
  • Short playtime. A full start-to-finish game can easily be played in 60 minutes.
  • Dynamic difficulty. Six difficulty levels are available, which modify the results on the tables, as well as what bosses you will encounter.
